In the wake of the senseless killing of innocent school children in Pakistan today, I feel compelled to post a prayer for peace and the alleviation of suffering in this world.
Loka samasta sukhino bhavantu
लोकः समस्ताः सुखिनो भवन्तु
Meaning: Let everyone in this world live in peace and harmony and in a state of happiness and contentment. May the sufferings of all be alleviated.
Om Shanti, shanti shantihi
ॐ शांति शांति शान्तिः
Meaning: May there be Peace.
