Twameva maataa cha pitha twameva

Twameva maata cha pitha twameva
twameva bandhushcha sakhaa twameva
twameva vidhya dravinam twameva
twameva sarvam mamah deva deva

Meaning: This shloka expresses complete surrender and devotion to God. It is almost like a conversation with God saying that, "You are (twameva) my mother (maata), father (pitha), relative (bandhu) and friend (sakha), my Lord. You are knowledge (vidhya) and you are my true wealth (dravinam). You are everything to me."
This shloka is often recited at the end of prayer meetings. It is a good shloka to familiarize kids with as it is one that they are very likely to hear at the temple. It would be nice to be able to sing along!
